I.D. Images Acquires
Hi-Tech Printing
I.D. Images has acquired Hi-Tech Printing Co.,
Cincinnati, Ohio. Terms of the transaction were not
disclosed. Hi-Tech Printing specializes in custom
printing through sheet-fed, web-fed and flexographic
printing. The company serves the printing industry
and operates out of a 48,000-square-foot facility.
The acquisition marks Brunswick, Ohio-based I.D.
Images’ fifth strategic acquisition in the last four

its current location. I.D. Images plans to consolidate
its other Cincinnati-based facility into the newly ac-
quired facility in the near future.
Spartanics Acquires Malahide

Spartanics, Rolling Meadows, Illinois, a manufactur-
er of card equipment and laser cutting systems, has
purchased Malahide Hot Stamping Presses, formerly
located in Vancouver, Canada.The acquisition report-
edly strengthens Spartanics’ line-up of full sheet and
roll fed hot stamping systems by offering smaller,
one-up hot stamping equipment.

There are said to be strong synergies between
CAPE and Esko, including many common customers
across both the packaging manufacturing and brand
owner markets. There are close links between Ar-
tiosCAD, Esko’s leading structural package design
software worldwide, and CAPE PACK, which uses Ar-
tiosCAD data for calculation and simulations within
the software. Additionally, CAPE reports can already
be managed within Esko’s WebCenter online packag-
ing management platform.
