Esko Launches CDI
Flexo Imaging Tour
Esko will be launching The ‘Real’
Flexo Experience, a series of free ed-
ucational summits designed to edu-
cate guests on the latest in f lexo
imaging technology.
“Who else is more qualified to ex-
plain the technology of flexo plate
imaging than Esko?” said Mark Quin-

vast majority of all flexo plates im-
aged globally are produced on an
Esko CDI. Our experience can offer
any company — from tradeshop to
converter — a realistic overview of
the technology and what can be ex-
pected from both a quality and an
economic perspective.”
Getting The Message Out
Esko will be transporting a CDI
2420 flexo imager to meeting rooms
throughout the United States: in
Kansas City, Kansas, November 14;
Dallas, Texas, November 21; Oak-
land, California, December 3; and At-
lanta, Georgia, December 11. The
summits will conclude with open

PRPflexo Celebrates 75
Years With Rebrand
by Greg Kishbaugh
T
he history of PRP (formerly PRPflexo and originally Preci-
sion Rubber Plate) based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is really
the story of the flexo industry in its entirety, as well as a testa-
ment to the spirit of entrepreneurship.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the company and, as
such, PRP has been witness to every major event and trend to
affect the industry since before the outbreak of WorldWar II.
It’s safe to say that when company founder Manuel Green
began cutting rubber printing plates on the family kitchen
Jim Green (above) reviews
several design options with a
customer in 1972. The compa-
ny is now led (below) by third-
generation family members
Chris Green and Kellie Green.
